Current Alligator Hunting Conditions and News
This page is set up to let our clients know what is currently taking place as far as Alligator hunting conditions on our properties and to inform you of up and coming events as well as any related news.
We will try to update this page as conditions change such as if we have wet or dry conditions as well as any news or up and coming events.
We have it arranged so that the most recent entry is located on top of the list. The entries are dated as they are posted.
We have re-constructed our currents page to become species specific. We now have a current conditions page for each of our species offered located as a link from that species page.
6-03-2008 Today was the first drawing for the public waters hunts. All of the tags we received under this draw are already spoken for. We have already been contacted by numerous individuals concerning the public waters hunts (with licenses with tags acquired by clients themselves). We will have some dates available for these hunts. Please contact us a.s.a.p. so you can get on our list for available dates. These dates will go fast this year as it seems a lot of people are applying for their own tags. Thought we would include a few recent alligator photo's as well.
9-28-2007 Due to cancellations, we have several tags available for the public waters hunts conducted on Lake Okeechobee (south zone) for the remainder of the 2007 season. These tags will expire on October 31st, 2007. These tags are for trophy hunts on this area. There are numerous trophy alligators remaining on this area like the those listed below. Persons interested should contact us a.s.a.p. concerning these tags.
9-12-2007 Sorry for the delay in up dating this page. Public waters hunts are going well considering the low water everywhere. Lake Okeechobee is very low with a lot of rocks. There are lots of smaller alligators everywhere but on some nights I think there are more people than alligators this year.
This alligator was harvested on a trophy hunt opening night on Lake Okeechobee by one of our clients. Congratulations Gordon on your 11'4 alligator. This head was 14.75 inches in length from nose to eye.
The following alligators were both harvested in one night on Lake Okeechobee by two of our clients on trophy hunts. Congratulations Mike and Mark on your alligators. Both alligators were 11'0 in length but Mark's head measured 13.5 inches and weighed almost twice as much as Mike's.

This page is new as of Today.
Friday 4-7-07 we had a trophy alligator hunt for one of our clients. The alligator harvested on this hunt is 11 feet 8 inches and is one of our better alligators for this year so far. This alligator was skinned for a full size rug mount. When finished it will be approximately 46 inches wide and 11'6 in length. It will shrink slightly but will still be a pretty impressive rug. The head measured 13.5 inches from nose to eye and 28 inches in total length.
